Religious Exploration for Children & Youth

All are welcome to join our fellowship on Sunday, November 23rd for an all ages service led by Rev. Pippin entitled “Amazed by Amazement”. Fall leaves dancing through the sky, a child’s eyes wide with wonder as they watch a magic trick, the magician’s dedication and skill, an ecosystem in bountiful balance. What amazes you, filling you with wonder and gratitude? It is sacred to name and to celebrate what we cherish.
 
RE and YUU will meet again on December 7th and 14th.

Nifty Gifty will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 9-12 PM. Nifty Gifty is an annual UUFA tradition when folx of all ages are invited to come make crafts and gifts for their loved ones. We will have several stations to create items for all to enjoy. We will also have special crafts geared towards older kids, teens, and adults!  We round out all the gift making with special treats, music, and a joyous celebration.
 
Do you have an amazing craft you’d like to share with the congregation? Let me know your ideas! In the past we’ve done woodworking, jewelry making, paper crafts, and so much more — we are open to ideas that showcase your talents and passions! Email dre.kahla@uuathensga.org for more information.
