Religious Exploration for Children & Youth

All are welcome to join our fellowship on Sunday, November 9th at 10:30 AM as we begin our exploration of our new theme for the month – Nurturing Gratitude. RE meets on Sunday — YUU is offsite on a congregational visit. 
 
Bringing it home:
Remember that daylight savings ends this weekend! We fall back one hour on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 a.m.
Fall Festival was such an incredible event! Thanks to all who volunteered, celebrated, ate chili, or provided delicious chili or treats for our congregation! I appreciate all the opportunities for connection and community that were created. 
 
Simple Supper will be on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:45 PM. All are welcome! If you would like a meal provided potluck style, please let me know by Tuesday, November 11th. You are also welcome to bring a dish to share (fruit, desserts, and snacks are always welcome).

Nifty Gifty will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 9-12 PM. Nifty Gifty is an annual UUFA tradition when folx of all ages are invited to come make crafts and gifts for their loved ones. We will have several stations to create items for all to enjoy. We will also have special crafts geared towards older kids, teens, and adults!  We round out all the gift making with special treats, music, and a joyous celebration.
 
Do you have an amazing craft you’d like to share with the congregation? Let me know your ideas! In the past we’ve done woodworking, jewelry making, paper crafts, and so much more — we are open to ideas that showcase your talents and passions! Email dre.kahla@uuathensga.org for more information.
