Ready. Set. Vote.
Join an exciting evening of live music, free food, and family fun to get Ready – Set – to VOTE on November 8!
This election is critical and voting is harder for many. At this event let’s all get ready to vote:
- Know when, where, and how to vote in this election
- Make art – rock painting, posters and more – to Get Out the Vote!
- Get inspired by local activists and high-profile national speakers (including the president of the Unitarian Universalist Association, Rev. Dr. Susan Frederick Gray!)
- Discover why this election is critical to Athens by learning about the issues and policies that will directly impact our community,
- Find one thing you can do to protect democracy and enjoy doing it! We’ll host postcard-writing, community art, and text and phone banking, just for starters.
So let’s sing and dance to The Splitz and dine on Rashe’s Cuisine (free!) while we build joy getting Ready – Set— to Vote!
This event is proudly hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens in partnership with the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement, the Economic Justice Coalition, Indivisible Georgia District 10, the New Georgia Project, and UU the Vote.
