2018 – 2019 Annual Budget Drive
Please Support the Fellowship!
It’s time to make your annual financial pledge of support to the UU Fellowship of Athens. Whether you are a member or friend of UUFA, we hope you’ll support our activities because they have a positive impact on people’s lives.
The goal of the 2018-19 Annual Budget is $330,000 in pledges and income. While we know many of you are still contributing to your Expanding Our Vision (EOV) capital campaign, we hope you will consider a 10% increase in your annual giving.

On Sunday, Feb. 11 Annual Budget Drive information was available for pick up. If you didn’t receive that document, 2018 ABD brochure, click to download and print it. The brochure contains recent accomplishments using this year’s income, plus information on how any increased income will be directed. The Board of Trustees and Ministry Council have established the following priorities:
- Increase staff hours and/or staffing to better meet our growing organizational complexity and programmatic goals (For example, changing our Music Director from being an 11-month employee to a 12-month staffer because she already works the year round! AND, we hope to better meet UUA compensation guidelines with all staff salaries—an act of worker justice!)
- Increase the building’s maintenance and utility budget to meet expectation after building construction is complete—let’s take care of our new facilities!
- Add new publicity and outreach for greater visibility and draw in the wider Athens community—let’s be that beacon we envision!
On Sunday, Feb. 18, Realm Account Help. We helped folks access their Realm account. We hope you’ll use Realm, an online member database, to record your pledge, as well as find phone numbers and other contact information for fellow members and friends of UUFA throughout the year.
On Sunday, Feb. 25, Stewardship Sunday was held. We had computers available for entering pledges in Realm, while others turned in paper pledges. Then we celebrated a great start at the 4th Sunday Lunch and Dessert Reception.
If you have not contributed to the Expanding Our Vision Capital Campaign it’s not too late! To make a commitment to our building expansion or to increase your current contribution, please contact John Olive, Capital Campaign Treasurer or click here for an EOV Commitment Form to print.
