UUFA’s Justice Partners seek holiday donations

Help Stock The Ark’s Christmas Store
One of UUFA’s justice partners, The Ark, is opening a Toy Store for those who cannot afford to buy from retail stores during the holiday season. Barbara Leissner will collect donated toys at UUFA every Sunday and deliver them to The Ark. Please bring your donations before December 2.

Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens
Please help support our IHNA parents shop for their own families this Christmas Season by donating gift cards!
Empowering our parents to budget, prioritize, and make selections that fit their family’s particular needs & wants is a special gift you can provide for our families who are just stepping back into sustainable independence. The added dignity of being able to pick out specific gifts for your own children is HUGE.
The gift cards will be distributed to current guest families and recent IHNA graduates who are continuing in our Extended Network Program.
Please notify your volunteers, congregations, and friends that gift cards are not limited to, but can include places such as: Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger, Toys “R” Us, Academy Sports, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Navy, Best Buy, Shell and BP Gas Stations, etc.
Donating gift cards is easy! You can mail gift cards to us, donate money via our website, organize gift card drives, or drop them off at our office located at
393 West Hancock Avenue.
The deadline for gift cards is Monday, December 12th.
