General Assembly Matters:  Your Vote Needed!

For a draft Statement of Conscience (SOC) to appear on the 2017 General Assembly Final Agenda, our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) bylaws require a minimum of 25 percent of certified congregations to participate in the ballot vote on whether the draft SOC should be placed on the Final Agenda.  YoUUr input is needed!

  • Share your thoughts by clicking here (or going to https://goo.gl/forms/iynMhg6U7NSAREy43)  .  Please base your vote on whether you believe the draft SOC is worded well enough to be considered by the General Assembly. It can be further refined by congregational comment before and during the 2017 General Assembly. Congregations may vote “Yes”, “No”, or “Abstain” based on the preferences that your congregation has expressed through a congregation-wide vote, vote by your board of trustees, work by your Social Action or Social Justice committee, or other body, or by whatever other method your congregation has selected.
  • Please also submit comments on the study guide for Congregational Study/Action Issue for 2016-2020: Corruption of Our Democracy.
Please vote by midnight on Sunday, January 29.
