What is the OWL program about?
Our Whole Lives is a series of sexuality education curricula, covering ages K-1 through adult. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, Our Whole Lives not only provides facts about anatomy and human development, but also helps participants clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality.
The curriculum for Our Whole Lives was developed by UUA in cooperation with the United Church of Christ. It is based on guidelines established by a national council of health, education, and sexuality professionals.
For general information about the program and curricula, see uua.org/re/owl and uua.org/re/owl/faq .
