April 2: IHNA Help Needed

from Mark Hodges, UUFA Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens (IHNA) Coordinator:
Good news.  A family is moving out of our shelter program and into their own place.  Volunteers will be needed to help with the move.
The plan is for volunteers to meet at the Day Center at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 2.  Our volunteer mover, Pete Nichols, will be here with his pick up truck and flatbed trailer to coordinate the moving day.  Volunteers will follow Pete to the IHNA storage unit, load the family up with furniture and housewares, follow Pete to the family’s new apartment, and carry the items inside.
Also, a volunteer van driver will be needed on Monday.  Mom does not have a car, so she will need transportation on her moving day.
