- Discussed ideas for programs, activities, or outcomes for addressing the four major areas of focus for the 2018-2019 program year that were developed at the January retreat of the Board and Ministry Council. Ministry teams and committees are being asked to review these and identify which ones they might be able to work on, or identify other ideas that the group can work on that aren’t on the list. - Discussed suggestions of terms and term limits for team or committee leadership and membership. All UUFA groups (teams or committees) are being asked to review several suggested models (click here) to see which model works best for their group, or if there is another model not listed the group is using or would use. These are only suggestions, not mandates. UUFA teams and committees are encouraged to update their charters (click here) accordingly.
- Heard an update on the building renovation plans (the entire congregation will be updated at a Town Hall on Sunday, March 4, between the two worship services), as well as on changes in usage of office and meeting rooms during the first phase of construction. All-congregation work days will be held on Saturday, March 3, from 9a-3p, and Saturday, March 10, from 9a-12p, to prepare the building for construction.
