Congregational Voting Meeting May 21: Make Sure Your Voice Is Heard

The Annual Congregational Meeting of the members of UUFA will be held on Sunday, May 21, after our single Sunday service and lunch.  At this meeting, we’ll review highlights of our past year and envision the new one.

Lunch? You may purchase a $5 pizza lunch, or feel free to bring a sack lunch. There will be a family friendly dessert reception celebrating Morgan and our RE leaders and volunteers.

In order to vote at the Annual Meeting, individuals must be “Active Members” of the Congregation:  those who have signed the membership book, been members for at least four weeks, and have made a financial contribution of record during the previous 12 months. (See Article II, Section 2.1 of the UUFA Bylaws).  We will certify members prior to the meeting.

Please plan to attend and lend your voice -- and vote -- to our vision for UUFA in 2017-18.

June 21-25 is the annual UUA General Assembly (GA)  where in addition to worshiping, witnessing, learning, connecting, and making policy for the Association through democratic process; this year we will also be electing a new UUA President. The UUFA still has three available delegate slots available for either on-site or off-site representation.
